If your office, facility, building, or company is required to develop an energy conservation plan, LED lighting is an excellent tool to help you meet your energy savings goals. Most people first learn about LED lights because of their high efficiency. If you don’t feel ready to replace all fixtures at once (especially if your budget doesn’t allow it or if existing fixtures still have some utility), think about which LED lights can be purchased in bulk for a discount (or, as HitLights offers, discounts for business account holders). Make a plan for smart replacement as well: as old-fashioned fixtures wear out, replace them with LEDs. This allows you to gradually reap the benefits of LEDs without the initial outlay that deters some buyers.
Is it okay to use LED strips outside?
HitLights provides outdoor grade LED strip lights (IP rating 67—as previously stated; this rating is considered waterproof), allowing the strips to be used outside. Our Luma5 series is premium: made from start to finish with high-quality materials and construction, and designed to last when installed outdoors. Concerned about installing strip lights in the elements? Choose our heavy-duty foam mounting tape, which can withstand whatever Mother Nature throws at it. Choose from our single-color, UL-listed, premium Luma5 LED strip lights in standard or high density.
Outside, where can I use LED lights?
Outside LED lights can be installed to highlight garage doors, under stair railings, and stair steps, in addition to parking lots, driveways, corridors, walkways, and door entries (LED strip lights are perfect for all these installations.)
Don’t forget about signage. Even when the sun goes down, you want people to see your signs. LED lights shine brightest on signs (no pun intended.) Certain LED strip lights, such as our WAVE strips, can be bent to follow letter curves or other sign outlines and add a pop to your 24/7 marketing tool (after all, that’s what a sign is!).
We’re sure we’ve got your thoughts racing—LED lights outside can be just as effective as they are indoors.
